Hi David I have captured a similar image to yours in South Africa about 6 hours later but not as bright as yours. I am still too new to this setup and not sure how to insert the image so you can have a look. Hi Louw,
I'm far from an expert, and I am probably doing it wrong. Do you already have the jpg that you want to attach in here? Or do you want to create a jpg from a .fits file? |

David I have the image in the binviewer but not sure how to get it from there to a file to insert it into this message to you. Louw

There's a button in the app to save it as an image file. On 20/03/2023 10:44, Louw ferreira

I don't know how to do that either, and the way I convert fits to jpg is so specific to the setup I use, that I do not want to cause confusion to anyone else who finds this post.
If you have a .bin file then cd ~/source/RMS python -m Utils.FRbinViewer -x -fmp4 ~/RMS_data/CapturedFiles/AU000W_20230319_105305_093751/ - of course you need to change the path to suit your system Will create .mp4 files in the captured files directory for the night for every detected fireball, for which a .bin file was created. |
